Rosalind Yvette Parker
August 12, 1956 – March 15, 2023 (age 66)

Rosalind Yvette Parker was born in Ocala, Florida, on August 12, 1956, to Deloris Williams and Richard Parker (deceased). Rosalind and her three siblings Wanda, Cedric, and Daphne were raised with love by her mother, Deloris, and the late Elmer L. Robinson.

Rosalind completed her primary education in the Marion County Public School system and graduated from Forest High School in 1974. Upon completion of high school, she briefly attended Central Florida Community College. In 1981, her baby brother convinced her to move to Dallas, Texas, where her career in electronics began with Texas Instruments, Inc. She continued in the electronics field her entire life, working for other giants in the industry such as Raytheon Technologies and finally, Lockheed Martin Corporation.

Rosalind loved spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and extended family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe. When she wasn’t busy tending to her family, she would spend time watching her favorite shows “Love and Marriage Huntsville,” “Ready to Love,” and “The Have and Have Nots” or listening to music by her favorite artist, Kem.

On March 15, 2023, God called Rosalind from labor to reward and to rest with her fathers, Richard and Elmer, her eldest sister, Wanda, great-granddaughter, Keilani, and other family and friends who preceded her in death in His heavenly garden.

Rosalind leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Deloris Robinson of Ocala; devoted and loving daughters, Kimberly Parker and Sharae Gibson, both of Ocala; brother, Cedric Robinson, of Garland, Texas; sister, Daphne Robinson, Esq. of Ocala; brother-in-law, Joe David (J.D.) Jones of Fayetteville, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Judith Robinson, of Garland, Texas; four grandchildren, Samuel Smith, Jada Smith, Kylie Gibson-McJunkin, and Caiden Gibson, all of Ocala; nieces, Deidre Jones, Joslyn Jones, Breah Miller, and Candyce Miller, of Ocala and Orlando, Florida; nephews, Joshua Robinson, Kevin Robinson, Lawrence Robinson, of Dallas, Texas, Anthony Miller, of Omaha, Nebraska, and Reginald Shaw II and Chase Shaw, both of Ocala; and a host of great-nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday March 31, 2023, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala 34475.
