Marilyn C. Hill passed peacefully on March 19, 2023.
She filled her life with her love of teaching. She was a professor emeritus from Utica College in the field of occupational therapy. In recent years, she taught creative writing. She published several books that were based in her love of family history. She was an avid swimmer and very much enjoyed playing cards with friends.
She was a devoted wife to the late Kauko Allan Hill and loving mother to Karin Hill and Kathryn Russ (Albert Russ). She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Jennifer Mastal Adams (Jarrod Adams), Wendy Mastal (Kevin Gruachacz), Jeremy Heinz (Christine Heinz), Erika Heinz, and Jon Hill (Heidi Hill); and seven great-grandchildren, G. William Wadsworth (Sarah MacLaughlin), Cortni Heinz, Lauryn Dybala, Connor Heinz, Alysha Hill, Allan Hill and Samantha Miller.
