Steve Thrasher, 70, died peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at his home in Ocala, FL.
He fought his cancer with dignity and strength. He was born and raised in Murphy. He worked as a Bridge Superintendent. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and was an avid reader.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Xochitl; two daughters, Tina and Melissa; brothers, Earl (Mary) and Ronnie; a sister, Debbie; two granddaughters, Shalees and Samone; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Per Steve’s wishes, no services will be held.
