A 56-year-old woman from Belleview has claimed a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery’s 300X THE CASH scratch-off game.
The Florida Lottery announced earlier today that Sheryl Sprouse visited the Lottery’s Gainesville District Office to collect her prize, and she chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $695,500.

Sprouse purchased her winning ticket from the Quick King Food Store located at 14725 SE U.S. Highway 441 in Summerfield. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
The Florida Lottery’s $30 scratch-off game, FLORIDA 300X THE CASH, launched in September 2022 and features more than $1 billion in cash prizes, including four top prizes of $15 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.93.
