The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public to identify a man who is wanted in connection with the theft of a dump truck.
On Tuesday, March 14, at around 12:30 a.m., the driver of a white SUV (pictured below) dropped off the male suspect at Marion Oaks Storage located at 150 Marion Oaks Boulevard in Ocala, according to MCSO.

In a social media post, the sheriff’s office stated that the male suspect (pictured below) entered the fenced-in area of the business and allegedly attempted to burglarize a vehicle. The male suspect also allegedly tried to break the lock on the gate in an attempt to disengage the mechanical component, which caused approximately $500 worth of damage.


MCSO stated that the male suspect proceeded to steal a blue 2006 Peterbilt dump truck (pictured below) and left the area.
