Archery Tag event for ages 16 and up returns to Mary Sue Rich Community Center this weekend

A fun and competitive event combining dodgeball, capture the flag, and archery will be held at the Mary Sue Rich Community Center at Reed Place this weekend.

The Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host Archery Tag on Sunday, April 2, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mary Sue Rich Community Center, which is located at 1821 NW 21st Avenue in Ocala.

Archery Tag is a new sport that offers the thrill of dodgeball with full-sized arrows and foam tips. During the event, participants will take aim at each other with non-lethal arrows to score points or eliminate opposing team members.

Anyone ages 16 and up is eligible to compete. Registration will be open on the day of the event only, and it will be limited to the first 30 participants. A waiver must be signed in order to take part in the event, and all gear and safety equipment will be provided.

For more information, visit the Archery Tag website or call 352-401-6980.
