Kathleen Louise Sickler
October 3, 1943 – March 25, 2023
Kathleen was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, to Eileen and Arthur McCavara on October 3, 1943. She went to high school at Poughkeepsie High School and graduated in 1961. She worked as an office manager for Busy Bee Floor Covering and WJZ Gauge, scanning coordinator for Adams Fairacre Farms, manager at CVS.
She enjoyed cards, games, and finances. She was involved in: SummerGlen Finance Committee, SummerGlen Players Group, and Veterans and Patriots Club.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Ralph Sickler Jr of Ocala, Fl., daughters Danielle Szalewicz, of NY, Deborah Kelly, of OR, grandchildren: Cassandra and husband Peter Jones, their children Wiley and Marlowe, Samantha Szalewicz and fiancé Samuel Maxwell, Stephen Szalewicz IV, Matthew Kelly, and Michael Kelly. Loving niece Jennifer Kavanagh, husband Michael and daughters Regan and Aislin. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eileen and Arthur, siblings: Douglas McCavara, Barry McCavara, Brian McCavara, Barbara Foster, and Shawn McCavara.
Funeral service will be held at Roberts of Ocala, on March 30th at 3:00 pm with a private family service.
