Marion County Utilities has lifted a precautionary boil water notice for its customers within the Cedar Hills, Doublegate, and Hawks Landing communities.
The boil water notice was issued on Thursday due to repairs that were being made to a section of a water main supplying these communities.
According to Marion County Utilities, bacteriological surveys were conducted, and satisfactory results have been reported by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Affected customers are being notified via emails, interactive community calls, media release, and/or social media.
