Motorists in Ocala can expect a temporary road closure on NE 25th Avenue next week.
The road closure will be in effect on NE 25th Avenue, from NE 34th Place to NE 35th Street, beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2 through 6 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3.
Miller Pipeline LLC will be working for the City of Ocala to install a 12-inch water main pipe connection in the southern portion of the NE 35th Street and NE 25th Avenue intersection. Equipment and personnel will be in the county right-of-way.
Crews will place barricades and signs to detour traffic around the work zones. Drivers should expect delays and use alternate routes when possible. Adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may affect schedules.
