Leave the forest alone

To the Editor:

We who moved out to the Ocala National Forest did so because we like quiet, trees, wildlife, and privacy. We valued quiet far more than silly city ways. Because too many people have overpopulated the area, we now have a steady stream of tourists taking pictures of our houses, and accidents on SR 40. The starving wildlife venture to their old homes and people get upset, though they were here first.

We do not need a polluting, greasy funk drive-thru or three, and yet more crime. What we need is quiet, some deputies, and a little respect. If you want to live in a paved community, go elsewhere.
