Arthur L. Shifflett Jr., age 84, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on May 14, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on October 20, 1938 in Charlottesville, Virginia a son to the late Arthur and Reva (March) Shifflett. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother Henry.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 64 years Patricia, three daughters Patty (Ronnie) Tucker, Debbie (Billy) Pritchard, Wanda (Scott) Homan, a sister Viola, and four brothers Allen, Bootie, Talmadge, and Gilbert, grandchildren R.C. (Nichole), Holly (Nick), Tiffany (Tommy), Tyler (Dallas) Amber, Lil Billy, Hunter, and Walker, and great grandchildren, Slade, Addison, Taylor, Blake, Emrey, Remi, Ava, Ella, and Candler as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 11:00am at Countryside Funeral Home. The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make donations to Hospice of Marion County.
