The Chief Greg Graham Legacy Foundation is preparing to host a luncheon in Ocala next week that will focus on the topic of mental health.
The Mental Health Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24 in the Hilton Ocala’s Churchill Ballroom located at 3600 SW 36th Avenue. Mental health professionals who serve Marion County will be in attendance to raise awareness about mental health in the community.
The luncheon will feature a panel of experts in the field of mental health, including psychologists, behavioral health specialists, and nonprofit leaders. They will share insights and expertise on various aspects of mental health, ranging from common mental health challenges to coping mechanisms and available resources in Marion County.
The Chief Greg Graham Legacy Foundation encourages community members, organizations, and community leaders to attend the educational event and engage in meaningful discussions with the panelists.
Attendance to the Mental Health Luncheon is by invitation only. Anyone interested in receiving an invitation to the event should email Angie Clifton (Angie.Clifton@bankonmainstreet.com) by no later than Saturday, May 20.
“Together, we can foster a more compassionate and understanding environment that supports the mental well-being of Marion County,” stated the Chief Greg Graham Legacy Foundation in a press release.
The Chief Greg Graham Legacy Foundation was established in honor of the City of Ocala’s late police chief who was killed in a plane crash in 2020. For more information, visit the foundation’s website.
