Thomas Edward Chorba Sr., 82, of Dunnellon, Fla., and formerly of Dickson City, passed away on May 29, 2022.
Thomas was a loving and generous husband, father, grandfather, godfather and friend to many in his 82 years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bernice Helen Chorba; and his daughter, Michele Mihok; parents, Frank and Sophie Lubniewski Chorba; brother, Richard Chorba; and sister, Lorraine Munley.
He graduated from Dickson City High School class of 1957. He started his long military career with the PA National Guard in 1955 and retired with the rank of Major in the U.S. Army in 1985.
He is survived by son, Thomas Edward Chorba Jr. of Dunnellon, Fla.; daughter, Jacqueline Chorba of Columbia Md.; son, Daniel Chorba of Palm Beach, Fla.; and grandchildren, Amber Christino-Jordan of Paris, France, and Nicholas Christino of Towson, Md.
Interment will take place on Saturday, May 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Visitation Cemetery, Dickson City, where he will rest in eternal peace with his wife and parents.
