Susan Carol Poslusny, 72, of Ocala, FL, passed away May 21, 2023.
Susan was born in Morristown, NJ on July 3, 1950. She graduated from West Morris Regional High School in Chester, NJ in 1968. Susan married Steven Poslusny on May 15, 1971. She worked in banking and clerical and later owned an auto transport business in Ocala, FL until 2022.
Susan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Belleview, FL, and was a member of the Relief Society. She directed music in the Primary and the church choir. She also participated in Stake Choir as a soprano. Music was an important part of her life that offered inspiration. Susan also enjoyed gardening, photography, and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Steven; and her brother, Thomas Fredricks. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Fredricks.
A visitation for Susan will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 12975 Southeast 55th Avenue Road, Belleview, FL 34420, on Saturday, May 27, from 10 until 10:45 AM followed by a service at 11:00 AM in the Chapel. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 5740 S Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34480, at approximately 12:30 PM. A lunch reception will be hosted at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints immediately following burial. All are invited.
