Arthur Edward Thibeault of Ocala, Florida passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 after a period of declining health.
Eddie was born in Exeter, NH on December 5, 1939 to Arthur Joseph Thibeault and Elizabeth Marie Caissie Thibeault of Candia, NH.
Eddie was a proud Veteran of the United States Army where his driving career began. He was a skilled truck driver with several NH construction companies and spent the last 20 years of his career with Merchants Motors of Hooksett, NH. Eddie was an avid motor sports fan and could be found most Sundays watching Nascar. In his younger years he found the racing bug himself at Star Speedway in Exeter, NH. He spent many years building street rods and was a longtime member of Auburn Rods & Customs. He loved travel adventures and meeting new people. He was a lifetime member of the Deerhead Sportmen Club where he loved to share stories and a beer. In his last years he was the unfortunate victim of an incident that left him a paraplegic. He fought with amazing force and focus to overcome this tragedy.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Linda Hartwell Thibeault. His son William Thibeault and wife Cheryl of Claremont, NH. His step daughter Patricia Boisvert of Manchester, NH. Sons Richard Thibeault of Montana and Thomas Thibeault of Arizona. Grandsons William Thibeault of Tennessee, Jeffrey Thibeault of Newport, NH, Jerry Hebert of Cary, NC, Michael Duquette of Iberia, Missouri and granddaughter Lauren Boisvert of Manchester, NH.
He is predeceased by his brother Robert Thibeault, beloved sister Rita Thibeault Higgins and his cousins William Caissie and William Dumont.
