On May 29th, Thomas O. Ball unexpectedly took his last nap on earth and entered Heaven’s gates!

Born in Bushnell, GA, he moved to Ocala in 1958, and married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Patricia Estes Ball the following year. Tommy retired from Sun Bank and was a long time member of First Baptist Church and then the Church of Hope. He was an avid bicyclist, Kiwanis Club member, and master of the piano. Tommy was a very special man who served his Lord Jesus Christ daily and was a friend to everyone he met. He played piano for the morning church services at Lowell correctional institute for over 30 years, weddings, funerals, church services and even small home concerts. During this past year, Tommy was especially blessed and thrilled to find his last love and new bride, Sandy Wakula Ball. They were truly happy and enjoying their new life together.

Survived by his wife Sandy, his 2 children Darlene (Larry) Smith, Tommy (Tara) Ball, grand- children Brandon (Jen) Ball and Sydney Smith, great granddaughter Kennedy Smith and sister Mary Ann (Rick) Maclean.

A celebration of life will be held at Hiers-Baxley on Sunday, June 4th at 2pm with visitation starting at 1 pm. Graveside service will follow at 3pm at Forest Lawn cemetery.

Thomas Ball will be greatly missed, but never forgotten!
