The City of Ocala’s Growth Management Department will host an informative public meeting later this month that will focus on the topic of city planning.
The meeting, which is titled Brick by Brick: Planning 101, will be held on Thursday, July 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the MLK First Responder Campus (615 NW Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Ocala).
There is no cost to attend the meeting, and it is open to the public.
According to the City of Ocala, the meeting will include the following topics: the city’s Vision 2035 and Vision 2050 plans; comprehensive planning, zoning, and land development; community redevelopment; historic preservation; and community involvement.
City staff will be available for questions and answers during the meeting. Refreshments will also be provided to attendees.
