Marion County Public Schools and the College of Central Florida are once again teaming up to host the Careers and Colleges Expo on Wednesday, August 23, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The two-hour event, which is sponsored by counselors at all Marion County public high schools and the College of Central Florida, will be held at the college’s Ewers Century Center located at 3001 SW College Road in Ocala.
Representatives from dozens of public and private colleges, universities, technical institutes, trade schools, and military branches will be on hand to share valuable information with local students.
The expo will benefit college-bound students, transfer students, and those interested in career exploration and military enlistment, according to MCPS.
The event is free to attend and open to the public.
