Carolyn Ann Fowler, 82, of Belleview, Florida, passed away on August 31, 2023.
Carolyn was born on May 10, 1941, in Jenkins, Kentucky, to Carl and Catherine (Fields) Oliver. She was of the Protestant faith and a member of the New Covenant Church of the Brethren in Dinwiddie, VA. Carolyn loved to crochet and sew. She made quilts, clothing, and even bridal and bridesmaids’ gowns. She was very talented and owned and operated her own sewing business for many years. Carolyn also enjoyed going dancing and to karaoke with her family.
Carolyn leaves behind her four children, daughter, Linda (Edwin) Meriwether, Belleview, FL; Carolyn Frazer, Portsmouth, VA; George Clawges, and William Clawges, both of Alexandria, VA; three siblings; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin and her son, Robert Clawges.
A private celebration of life will be held for the family. Arrangements entrusted to Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel.
