To the Editor:
I just read a letter posted on Ocala-News.com and couldn’t have said it better myself. On every corner, there’s a gas station or car wash popping up what seems like every mile on State Road 200. There is nothing in Ocala to do, maybe Silver Springs and canoeing, or yes, the World Equestrian Center. But as far as fun attractions and atmosphere, that’s it.
Ocala needs a public pool, maybe even a water park or something. They closed down that water park in Silver Springs for what they said would be a park, but now it’s an empty lot of overgrown shrubs.
We 100% need something better to do.
