Phillip W. Cribb, 60, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. He was known to be the life of the party and was always willing to help others. Phil was kind, hardworking, funny, and above all he was a proud, doting and loving father to his daughter Chelsea. Phil attended Avon Park High School and later pursued higher education at Troy University. He had a successful career as the Operations Supervisor at Ansafone Contact Centers. In addition, he worked as a voice-over actor and was well known for his management roles at 11 East, Ocala Entertainment Complex (O.E.C.), Motiv8 Marketing, Bonkerz Comedy Club, Midnight Rodeo, and Club Zanzabar. In his free time, Phil enjoyed watching old movies, Star Trek, Star Wars, and Marvel films. He cherished spending time with his sister CJ and niece Ashley. You could often catch him on Friday nights at Charlie Horse singing karaoke.
Phil is survived by his sister, Catherine (CJ) Cribb, and her daughters, Kristin and Ashley Campbell, and his great-nephew, Liam. He is also survived by his sisters Vivian Cribb and her children, Fawn Singletary and her husband, Gary, with their son, Colton. Phil’s only child, his daughter, Chelsea Cribb, also survives him and deeply mourns his untimely passing. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Phillip Wayne and Barbara Cribb.
A memorial service and dedication of life for Phil will take place at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 on the downstairs back patio of O’Malley’s Alley located at 24 S. Magnolia Ave. Ocala, FL 34471. The service will be followed by a toast and celebration of Phil Cribb’s life concluding at 5:00pm.
