(Update from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office: Kalsey Mitchell Munoz has been located and is safe.)
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing and endangered 20-year-old woman who was last seen leaving a sporting goods store in Ocala on Tuesday morning.
At around 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26, Kalsey Mitchell Munoz was dropped off at Dick’s Sporting Goods (4414 SW College Road, Unit 1800 in Ocala) by her parents for work, according to MCSO.
Shortly after Munoz arrived at the store for her shift, the sheriff’s office states that she told her boss that she was quitting, and she then left in a dark-colored sedan. A family member received a text from Munoz’s phone stating that she was heading to South Florida to visit family, but those family members have not seen or heard from her.
Munoz’s parents received another text message from Munoz’s phone, but all communication has since stopped.

When Munoz was last seen, she was wearing a green t-shirt and black leggings. She is 5’1″ tall, she weighs 167 pounds, and she has brown eyes and black hair.
Munoz is epileptic and has been diagnosed with other medical conditions. According to MCSO, she does not have her medication with her.
