A popular cafe that opened in downtown Ocala in 2016 is moving into a new space that was vacated by a fine dining restaurant earlier this summer.
Symmetry Coffee Company is currently working on its new location at 101 E Silver Springs, Suite 102, in downtown Ocala. The business will replace Katya Vineyards, which closed its doors in July.

In posts made through social media, the cafe says it is hoping to reopen sometime this week and will maintain the same hours, Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The new shop is just one block away from the old shop, which was located at 108 N Magnolia Avenue, Suite 102.
In the years since it opened its first location, Symmetry has become one of the most popular destinations in downtown Ocala.
Currently, the restaurant’s menu features a variety of hot and cold coffee and teas, as well as a collection of lunch options, including bagels, burritos, sandwiches, bowls, and crepes.
Symmetry Coffee Company’s new location is one of several recent changes to downtown Ocala’s landscape of businesses.
Since closing its doors in July, Katya Vineyards has been working on a new location just a couple doors down in the former location of Morevino and Tavern on the Square.
At the end of September, Mellow Mushroom announced that its new location in downtown Ocala, which has been under development since 2019, is “coming soon.”
Earlier this summer, The Keep Downtown, which was formerly known as Ocala Wine Experience, shut down its location after a multi-year run. Next door, the new District Kitchen and Bar celebrated its official grand opening in September after soft opening earlier in the summer.
Ole Sarah’s, a shop that sells locally-produced, handmade apparel and home goods, celebrated its grand opening at 108 E Fort King in downtown Ocala in August.
