Tickets are now on sale for the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department’s inaugural Brick City Bluegrass Festival, which will be held on January 20, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Citizens’ Circle.
The all-ages, outdoor music festival will feature nationally known and local bluegrass bands, including headliner Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers.
Named “Entertainers of the Year” by the International Bluegrass Music Association in 2019, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers are seen by tens of thousands of bluegrass fans each year, and they have been regular guests on the historic Grand Ole Opry since 2013.
In addition to live music and entertainment, the Brick City Bluegrass Festival will feature a variety of food trucks, and beer and wine will also be available for purchase.
Festival attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Coolers will not be permitted inside the event area.
Early bird tickets are currently on sale for $15 per person, and this price will be available through Sunday, November 26, 2023. Advanced tickets, which cost $20 per person, will begin on Monday, November 27, 2023 through Friday, January 19, 2024.
On the day of the event, tickets can be purchased at the gate for $25 per person, and they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until the event sells out.
Veterans and children (ages 8 and under) will be able to attend the festival for free.
