Ava Nell Kennedy-Beville, 89 passed away on November 4, 2023. Ava was born to Elias De Jarnet and Vesta Scharleen Kuykendall-Kennedy on May 21, 1934 in Lawrenceburg TN. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack whom she was married to for 54 years.

Ava was a loving mother to Summer Stewart- Tillman (Randy), Stacy Ray Stewart (Pilar) and Shari Beville-Sexton (Johnny). She was also step-mother to Alan Beville, Jacqueline Parker, and Debbie Wynn whom preceded her in death. Ava had 37 amazing grandkids and 43 great grandkids that she loved dearly!

She left behind Her sister Patsy York, and her siblings that preceded her in death, Cleo Waldrop, Leo Reeves, Imergene Lovelace, Evelyn Staggs, Eva Mae Kennedy, and E.D. Dick Kennedy.

She had 5 grandchildren that preceded her in death. Dallas, Jason, Zack, Kyle, and Ricky.

Ava’s love of her life was Her beloved husband Jack. They traveled all over the U.S. with a small tent, sleeping bags and a Coleman stove in their trunk. She was a school cafeteria worker at East Marion Elementary for 12 years before she retired. Prior to that job she worked as a night clerk at a motel in NC, a business owner, a waitress and a stay at home mother. One of her most prized accomplishments was that Ava started the very first Brownie/Girl Scout Troop at East Marion Elementary School in 1969 and the troop is still active today. Ava was a master at Chinese Checkers! She Very seldom lost a game even in her final months. She adored her children and all her grandchildren. Ava was a Christian member of Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church in Silver Springs FL. and will be missed by all.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, November 18th at 10:00 a, at the Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church; 14100 Hwy. 40 Silver Springs. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.
