Jeffrey Boyd Thyng, age 63, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on November 6th, 2023.
Jeff was born on Halloween 1960, in Somerville, MA, to Raymond Thyng and Vera Cormier. He graduated from Nashua South High School in 1979. He went on after high school to start a very successful career as a salesman of all types, but his specialty was car sales. He was so proud of all of the deals he made possible in his 44 years in the car business. In his free time, Jeff enjoyed painting and sketching, playing backgammon on the board he had built with his daughter, Elisabeth, spending time on the back porch with his wife, LaDonna, making people laugh, having crazy adventures, and helping everyone he met from all walks of life. He never met a stranger, only a new friend.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, LaDonna F. Thyng; daughter, Elisabeth K. Thyng, of Ocala; daughter, Jessica M. Clark and husband, Patrick Clark of Manchester, NH. He is also survived by his father, Raymond B. Thyng of Deland; sister, Kathy Makely and partner Greg Harney of Nashua, NH; brother, Cliff Thyng and wife Kim Thyng of Deland; many nieces and nephews, and hundreds of friends that have become family.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at a later date, and details will be provided by the family.
