Daniel Ernest Miller, born June 27th, 1940, in Michigan to Frank & Loine went to be with his heavenly Father in the early morning of November 9th, 2023. Dan was met with open arms in Heaven by his loving wife Carol, his son Matthew, his son Danny and his daughter Mary. Also greeting him were his mother and father, his 6 brothers, and his great granddaughter Mikayla.
He is survived here on earth by his oldest son Greg and his wife Melissa. His grandchildren Stephanie, Meagan, Joshua, Chris, Cody, Ashley, Danny Jr, Bella, Victoria and Kylie. His great grandchildren Josiah, Jordan, Elijah and Brady.
After retiring from the city of Ocala, Dan spent his days loving sports, especially Gator football. He loved playing along to Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and he was also well known for never turning down a Little Debbie, a slice of chocolate cake and a good Diet Coke.
Dan loved going to breakfast, reading the paper and watching his grandchildren & great grandchildren grow.
Dan was a loving father, grandfather and uncle. He will be forever missed by his family & friends, and anyone else who got the honor to know him.
