A local Popeyes is nearing completion of its restored location on Pine Avenue, nearly one-and-a-half years after its roof collapsed.
Over the past several months, construction crews have made steady progress on the fast-food restaurant, which is located at 1713 S Pine Avenue.

A grand opening date has not yet been announced, but Popeyes plans on opening the restored location by the end of the year.

The Popeyes location has been closed for nearly 18 months, shutting down after severe storms passed through the area on June 24, 2022. The rains ended up causing catastrophic damage at the business, resulting in a partial roof collapse.

The new Popeyes will occupy the same site and will be the same size of over 2,500 square feet, according to construction records.
