To the Editor:
I’ve been saying it for years. I see these places adopt animals to older people, and they’re brought back within two years. It’s a perfect situation and a “win-win:” senior citizens have a dog, even if it’s for a month and somebody does adopt it, and it keeps the dog out of the cages. I’m all for it.
I’m signing up for it once I get a couple things situated here for a small dog and a female, and it has to get along with my three cats that I’ve been fostering for two years. I’ve had 11 foster cats that have all been adopted.
