Two missing Ocala children considered endangered due to father’s ‘concerning behavior’

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the community to locate two missing children who are believed to be with their father and in danger.

According to MCSO, 4-year-old Tristan Johnson and 6-year-old Terrance Johnson were reported missing on Sunday afternoon. They were last observed by their mother at Harveys Supermarket located at 3435 N Pine Avenue in Ocala.

Since being dropped off at the supermarket, deputies believe that the father of both children – identified as 37-year-old Terrance Johnson – may have taken them to New Jersey. In addition, he has ceased all communication with their mother.

The two missing children are currently with their father, 37-year-old Terrance Johnson.

Due to the “concerning behavior” exhibited by the father, law enforcement is concerned for the safety of the two children.

“Since their father has taken the juveniles out of state, there has been a court order filed for law enforcement to take custody of the children and place them in their mother’s custody,” stated the sheriff’s office on social media.

If you have any information about the location of the two children, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office asks that you call 911.
