Event center, medical facility, 6th indoor arena under construction at World Equestrian Center

New photos from the World Equestrian Center show multiple projects in various stages of construction, including a new event center, medical facility, sixth indoor arena, and seven outdoor arenas.

Located at 1750 NW 80th Avenue in Ocala, the facility’s nearly 400-acre campus has undergone significant changes since it first opened over three years ago.

This Summer, the organization has plans to open three additional projects at the site: The University of Florida Health Family Medicine Center, the facility’s sixth indoor arena, and seven outdoor arenas.

The state-of-the-art, 10,000-square-foot medical center will offer “world-class expertise of academic-based medical care,” according to WEC.

The five-story Event Center will bring an additional 180,000 square feet of meeting space to the property. According to WEC, there will be four additional dining concepts at the Event Center, joining several other options across the WEC campus.
