In a video posted on social media this week, Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods asked for the public’s help to locate a “true shithead” who is accused of molesting a child.
On Wednesday, May 29, during his “Wanted by Woods” segment on Facebook, Sheriff Woods stated that Robert Miles Brown II is wanted for three counts of lewd or lascivious molestation.
“Take a real good look at this individual,” said Sheriff Woods. “He is a predator who [allegedly] stole a child’s innocence and permanently changed their life.”
According to Sheriff Woods, a juvenile victim recently came forward and accused Brown of molestation. No further details were provided by the sheriff regarding the allegations against Brown.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office believes that Brown may currently be “hiding” in the Hollywood or Dunnellon areas.
During the video posted on Facebook, Sheriff Woods relayed the following message for anyone who may be harboring Brown: “One, know who you have around you. But two, if you’re intentionally doing it, I promise you [that] I’ll come after you next.”
The sheriff also mentioned in the video that he believes it is “more than likely” that Brown has a “whole pile of other victims out there.”
If you have any information about Brown’s current whereabouts, or any similar incidents involving Brown, Sheriff Woods asks that you contact the Crime Stoppers of Marion County by calling 352-368-STOP(7867), and reference 24-19 in your tip.
If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
