‘What’s up, Florida?’ Kid Rock says Ocala music festival will be ‘epic’

Kid Rock is telling Floridians and everyone else who travels to the Ocala area for the upcoming Rock The Country music festival to expect “epic performances” and “one hell of a good time.”

Rock the Country, a two-day festival that kicks off on Friday, will bring Kid Rock, Jason Aldean, Lynyrd Skynyrd and several other performing artists to Majestic Oaks Ocala, which is located at 17500 N U.S. Highway 441 in Reddick.

In a video promoting the festival, the multi-platinum artist told concertgoers to expect a great show.

“What’s up Florida?” said Kid Rock in the promotional video. “We’re bringing some of our friends to you, for Rock the Country.” The singer went on to say the groups will be putting on “epic performances” and that everyone will have “one hell of a good time.”

Last week, festival organizers released the full lineup for Rock The Country, which aims to bring country music “back to its roots” in small towns across America.
