Eugene Di Natale II, 69, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Friday, May 31,2024 surrounded by his family, after a brief illness.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 4, 1955, Gino was the son of the late Eugene Di Natale I and Theo Kelley Hoffman. He spent the early part of his career as a professional drummer, traveling with Paul New and the Steel City Band and other bands across the United States. He later spent the majority of his career in Information Technology as a software developer. After retiring, he returned to music, entertaining audiences in north central Florida as the drummer for Monkey Island.

Gino’s passions included playing drums, riding motorcycles, photography, and playing with his dogs, Susie and Sequoia.

Gino is survived by his partner, Joanne S. Di Natale of Ocala, his brother, Michael “Micky” Di Natale, sister-in-law, Susan A. Di Natale of Stillwater, MN, nephew, Michael T. Di Natale of Woodbury, MN, along with numerous other family and friends who loved him.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
