Have you tried this new cafe in Ocala?

A new cafe near downtown Ocala has drawn hundreds of favorable reviews from visitors in its first few months.

Since Live Fire Chefs opened for business in April, the restaurant has seen a steady flow of customers to its location at 506 S Pine Avenue.

The new restaurant is located in Pine Plaza, between Pinch-A-Penny and Kidstuff Consignment.

Owned and operated by Chef Patrick Cahill, Live Fire Chefs is the product of Cahill’s extensive training under great chefs around the country.

A graduate of the New England Culinary Institute, Cahill has worked as an Executive Chef at different 4 and 5-star restaurants and resorts for over two decades.

Cahill’s new cafe provides the chef with an opportunity to share all that he has learned with local residents. As such, the restaurant’s menu features a large collection of classic dishes and favorites.

All of the dishes are prepared from scratch, including breakfast bowls, sandwiches, open faced toasts, and special entrees.

Breakfast entrees include Belgian waffles, french toast, steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy, corned beef hash, and a quiche of the day that is served with spring greens and fresh fruit.

In addition to the breakfast options, the cafe serves a variety of premium sandwiches for lunch, including a shaved ribeye brioche and a loaded bacon croissant, among others. Sandwiches come with a choice of potatoes, cheese grits, or fruit.

The lunch menu also features a variety of plates and different hand-helds, like a chicken pesto and mozzarella.

Desserts at Live Fire Chefs Cafe include butter toffee cake, beignets, and Affogato, which is an Italian dessert that combines ice cream with espresso.

In addition to its food options, the restaurant also feature a full coffee bar.

Across social media, dozens of customers have shared stories about their positive experiences at the restaurant. Currently, the cafe has perfect, 5-star ratings on Google and Yelp.

Live Fire Chefs Cafe is currently open for breakfast and lunch, Tuesday through Sunday, (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.). The business has plans to add dinner hours as well.
