Anne Scott Albrecht

Anne Scott Albrecht of Ocala, Florida passed. She was born in Sarasota, Florida in December of 1953 to Geraldine and Vincent D. Scott Jr.

Annie, as she was known by family and friends, was multitalented and had many interests. She loved her home state of Florida and all of its natural environments nurtured by family picnics, and camping trips to Myakka State Park when she was young. She became a florist and a master gardener and enjoyed using native plants to further advocate for, and promote the beauty of what was naturally here.

Finally, her greatest gift was that even in her most challenging times, she could find a person whose challenges she thought were greater, even when they weren’t, and extend her hand in sympathy, kindness, and whatever else she thought she could offer.

She was devoted to her church, first as a catechist at The Church Of The Incarnation in Sarasota, and later when she joined Our Lady Of Lourdes in Venice.
