The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing woman who was last seen entering the woods near a home in Ocklawaha early Sunday morning.
According to MCSO, 29-year-old Rosemary Emmerling was last seen leaving her residence located in the 14000 block of SE 85th Street in Ocklawaha at around 2 a.m. on Sunday, July 21.
When she was last seen, Emmerling was wearing a red hoodie, long pants, and sandals. She was also carrying a white and blue bag.
Emmerling stands 5’8” tall, weighs 127 pounds, and has brown eyes and dyed pink hair, though half of her head is shaved.
The sheriff’s office states that Emmerling has “several mental health disorders,” and she may have been in a “manic state” when she left her residence on Sunday. She also may be without her medications, which has caused concern for her safety.
