Hurricane Debby left a wake of damage in Marion County on Monday, with reports of trees falling on homes, roadways, a Coca-Cola semi-truck, cars, power lines, and even an emu farm.

Throughout the day, readers and local organizations shared photos showing the damage in Marion County caused by Tropical Storm Debby.

City officials, emergency workers, and utility employees are still working through rainy, windy conditions to restore power across the area.

As of 6:30 p.m., there are still at least 10,000 customers without power in Marion County, including over 1,000 customers of Ocala Electric Utility.
