The owners of RaceWash have opened their sixth location in Ocala under a new moniker.
The first SuperWash in Ocala is now open at 1481 SW Highway 484. Located next to RaceTrac, under a mile away from a new Wawa under construction, the new car wash officially opened in late June.
RaceWash was founded by local brothers Mac and Merritt Fore in 2013. The first location opened on Maricamp Road and since then, the company has opened three locations along State Road 200 and one on West State Road 40.
The new SuperWash is further south than the other five RaceWash locations that have opened in Ocala over the past decade.
The new car wash adds to one of the fastest-growing areas of Ocala.
Earlier this year, the Ocala Food Truck village opened to the public at 2655 SW Hwy 484. Last month, another food truck park announced plans for the adjacent lot.
This past Spring, a Pepsi distribution center took over a large warehouse space at the nearby Florida Crossroads Commerce Park.
Last month, a cannabis company purchased a center near Pepsi to operate a marijuana production and cultivation facility.
SuperWash is open Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
