Daily and nightly lane closures will continue this week along a busy stretch of County Road 484 as road crews work to install curbs and gutters.
The Florida Department of Transportation is advising motorists of lane closures along CR 484, near its intersection with CR 475A, every day through Friday, August 16, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and then again from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Additional closures will be in effect on the westbound, outside lanes on CR 484 for “curb and gutter installation and grading,” according to FDOT.
The work is part of project 433651-1, which calls for major improvements along CR 484, near its interchange with I-75 and intersection with CR 475A.
The project also calls for the reconstruction of the westbound through lanes and the modification of the existing I-75 bridge to accommodate the roadway’s widening.
Additionally, crews are making improvements to pedestrian sidewalk connectivity through the project limits and median upgrades, according to FDOT.
