Keith Aleric McFayden, passed away on July 26, 2024, at the age of 91. Keith was born in Kingston, Jamacia to the late Clovis and Gladys McFayden.
Keith attended and graduated high school in Kingston, Jamacia, where he lived until moving to Rochester, New York, in 1968. Keith has held various positions. He retired from Eastman Kodak of Rochester, NY, and, with his wife Mary, moved to Ocala, Florida, in 1994. He also worked as a bus driver in Ocala, Florida.
Keith was known to be thoughtful, kind, and considerate. He was also known to go the extra mile for anyone who needed him. Keiths deepest enjoyment was in being zealous and a loyal Jehovah’s Witness.
Keith is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary McFayden, of 44 years. Mary and Keith were united in matrimony on June 21, 1980.
Keith was the proud father of nine children, three of which preceded him in death. Son; Carlton McFayden, son; Collin Thomas (Bill), daughter; Patricia Good (Dawn). He leaves to mourn his cherished memory…. All of Keith’s siblings preceded him in death: four sisters and brothers: Joyce, Yvonne, Sylvia, Phyllis, Kenneth, Vincient, and Aston. Keith also leaves a host of cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, bonus grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-nephews. A special thanks to my nephew, Michael Ashley, and a special friend, Bernard Chisolm. Our beloved Keith will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Keith will rest at Good Shephard Memorial Gardens in Ocala, Florida. Service will be held on August 23, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
