A new hookah and sports bar that features pool tables and darts just opened its doors along College Road in Ocala.
Lava Hookah & Sports Bar is now open at 3131 SW College Road #207, within the College Park Plaza across from the Paddock Mall.
The new establishment features multiple pool tables, live entertainment, and a full bar. It regularly hosts theme nights and events, including karaoke every Wednesday.
As its name suggests, Lava also sells a variety of Shisha or hookah tobacco for use in its hookahs, which are water pipes used to smoke tobacco.
Lava Hookah & Sports Bar is open seven days a week, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.
The new sports bar is one of several additions to College Park Plaza over the past year:
- Poké Go opened a new ramen and poké restaurant in the plaza in June 2024.
- Phoenix Martial Arts opened a new dojo in the plaza in October 2023.
- Jaws Jumbo Burgers opened a new location in the plaza in July 2023.
