Clarence Alfred Preston, 94, of Belleview, Florida, went to be with the Lord August 14, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family.
Born on February 13, 1930 in Michigan the son of Rev. Laurence Preston and Luetta Preston, one of 9 children. On December 1, 1951, Clarence started his marriage of 72 years to Muriel McGinnis.
He is survived by his wife Muriel, daughter Sherry Jones (Jay), son Larry Preston (Alicia), 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Throughout his life, Clarence was the top salesman for Dowsett Realty in Michigan, owned an auto parts store in Michigan and in Belleview, Florida. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He also owned 3 airplanes and he was a faithful church member and sang in the church choir.
