To the Editor:

I tried looking up several businesses online to get some information and their website pages transferred me to Facebook. I only wanted to get a little information on what was available at the stores, I did not want to sign up for Facebook.

Why are more businesses using Facebook instead of just having a website with the information customers need?

I passed on two stores because I did not want to open a Facebook account. Maybe stores should consider the age of certain customers or the fact that customers just want to look up a little information without having to sign up for anything.
