Ruth Bertini passed peacefully in her sleep August 27, 2024 at the age of 89 under hospice
care.
She leaves behind four children to cherish her memory. Richard Parmenter of Florida.
Shari Sherwood and her husband Ozzie of Florida. Jamie Bertini and his wife Pamela of South
Carolina. Michelle Bertini of Florida. She also leaves behind her 9 grandchildren: Rich, Andrea,
Michelle, Amber, Jarrod, Brookelyn, Samantha, Kristen, Teagan and many great grandchildren.
Also left to cherish her are her two sisters: Donna St. Hilaire of Massachusetts and Susan
LaLiberte of Minnesota.
She was predeceased by her mother Marjorie (Drake) Walsh, her father Charles Humphrey and
her stepfather Arthur Walsh as well as her brother Peter Walsh.
Ruth was born on Christmas Day 1934 in Auburn MA. She dedicated her working years as a
home health aide, taking care of others was always a large part of her life. In her early
retirement days she was always on the go spending much time with her “girls” Diane and Rita.
Making crafts baking treats were just some of the things she would do for the family and she
never drove like an old lady! She enjoyed going for walks, reading, music, gameshows and
puzzle books. She had a love for collecting owls and crystal figurines. She was always up for a
sweet treat too! We take this time to remember the good times when she was still at her best
and always a happy soul. May she rest in peace knowing she will be truly missed.
