Marion County officials announced a multi-week closure of several roadways around the area as crews work to make improvements to pavement.
According to Marion County officials, lane closures will be in effect from September 9 through October 11, along the following roadways:
- S Magnolia Avenue, from SE Highway 42 to SE 160th Street
- SE 160th Street, from S Magnolia Avenue to S Highway 475
- NE 112th Avenue, from NE Highway 314 to NE 49th Street
- NE 49th Street, from NE 112th Avenue to NE 115th Court
- NE 115th Court, from NE 49th Street to NE 52nd Place Road
- NE 52nd Place Road, from NE 115th Court to NE Highway 314
During the closures, Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. will be conducting roadway pavement repairs. According to the county, workers and equipment will be located in the County-Right-of-Way and crews will place barricades and signs to direct traffic through the work zones.
Travelers should expect delays and use alternative routes when possible, according to the county.
