To the Editor:

There are at least 15, 3-floor condominiums being built right off U.S. Hwy 27, as shown in your picture. There are already many, many homes behind those condos, and there are two exits and they both dump out onto U.S. Hwy 27. Once those condos are full, I don’t know how in God’s creation all those people are going to get out of there on a regular day, let alone if we had to leave because of a major storm or hurricane coming. We would all be killed for sure.

That is ridiculous totally ridiculous and it shows that the commissioners just want the money; they don’t care about anything else. US 27 is two lanes in either direction so when they come out, either they turn right to go west, or they have to come across the median to go left (east).

Can you imagine all these people waiting to get in a median and waiting for the traffic that’s already there on US 27? People are going to get killed. There’s going to be accident after accident after accident.

Where’s the stoplights? Why not widen the road? Oh, we don’t have enough money for that because we spent too much money on other things.

This is shameful, this is totally shameful.

Then we have all the building that’s going up around the World Equestrian Center. The traffic from there dumping on to US 27 or State Road 40 is going to be immense, and this county is doing nothing but taking in the money. Greed, greed, greed. I moved from Fort Lauderdale to get away from all the traffic and congestion and now I’ve moved right back into it.
