A local business owner whose wings gained citywide popularity at his old establishment in Ocala has opened a new restaurant in the west part of the city.
Wing Kings Express is now open for business at 3630 W Silver Springs Boulevard. The new restaurant is located within the Amoco gas station next to Interstate 75.
Wing Kings Express is owned by Fulton Wilson, who has established a reputation in the community for his “finger-licking” wings.
Although this iteration of the business opened in June, Wilson previously ran Wing Kings of Ocala along Jacksonville Road in northeast Ocala.
Wing Kings features at least 12 different flavors for its wings, including “Ocala Gold,” garlic lemon pepper, hot honey garlic, and honey mustard.
Wings, either boneless or traditional, may be purchased in combinations as large as 100 wings with different flavor combinations.
In addition to wings, the restaurant also offers chicken tenders, shrimp, and fish. Sides include onion rings, macaroni and cheese, green beans, garlic rolls, gizzards, and grits, among others.
Wing Kings Express is open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.
