UPDATE: Angel Manuel Santiago has been found and is safe.
A 47-year-old man who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and brain lesions has been missing from his Ocala home since Thursday evening.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help to locate Angel Manuel Santiago Reyes, who was last seen on Thursday, September 5.
According to MCSO, Reyes was last seen leaving his home on Larch Course in Ocala at approximately 8:30 p.m. At the time, Reyes was using a red motorized wheelchair and was wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans.
Reyes stands 5’11” tall, weighs 200 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair.
Reyes suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and brain lesions, which have “caused him to become confused,” according to MCSO.
Recently, Reyes became lost while traveling in his wheelchair and was found in Fruitland Park.
According to MCSO, it’s possible that Reyes may stop at a convenience store to charge his wheelchair. If you have any information about his whereabouts, please call 911 in reference to MCSO #24-19497.
