A hotel located near several other hotels along Ocala’s busiest roadway has just been sold for nearly $10 million.
The La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham located at 3530 SW 36th Avenue in Ocala was just sold for $9,900,000.
According to a deed filed with the county, the transaction was completed on August 12, 2024, and was recorded by the Marion County Clerk of Courts on September 6, 2024.
Records show that the 2.03-acre property was purchased by Shree OM 3530 LLC, a company based in Minneola that is registered to Pinal Patel.
It was sold by OM3530 Ocala Inc., which is owned by Vipulkumar Patel. Vipul Patel also is the registered owner of the Deluxe Motel located at 113 N 14th Street in Leesburg.
The new sales price represents an increase of over 50% above the previous sales price in 2021. Marion County property records show that the parcel was sold in April 2021 for $6,450,000.
The 88,427-square-foot hotel was built in 1998 and is situated near several other hotels, including Hilton Ocala.
